OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS

 


As a network marketer one of the biggest challenges you’ll have to face is overcoming objections.

Now to do this, we first need to look at human psychology.

The way our brains are wired is to keep us feeling safe, comfortable and in the known instead of the unknown.

That’s why it can be so hard to change a habit. Whether it’s a bad habit or not, we get comfortable doing the same things every day that when we try to do something different our brains naturally resist.

What does this have to do with Network Marketing?🤔

Because when you hear objections from your prospects, it’s cause what you’re offering them is something new that’s unfamiliar with them. So their natural instinct is to make up an excuse so they stay where they are at.

Now when you hear an objection you need to first understand - is this an objection or a complaint? 

Great salespeople know the difference and if you too want to become great at sales you should know too‼️

More often than not those “objections” are nothing more than complaints. For example - if your prospect says “ that costs too much money”, is that an objection or a complaint? 

The untrained person would say that was an objection and lose that sale right there. But really, that’s just a complaint. And the best way to handle a complaint is to agree with your prospect and move forward.

That’s the first rule of sales - ALWAYS AGREE with your prospect! 

This whole process of CLOSING and handling complaints is the main thing you should focus on with your business. Once you understand how to handle those complaints properly, then every time to hear that complaint you know exactly what to say and you can make the sale like clockwork. They say this, you say this, sale is made. 

Take every complaint and every “No” as a learning experience. This is a MUST! Don’t let your emotions get in the way, know that every conversation you have and every time you hear an “objection”, you’re doing more than 95% of the population. Keep moving forward and you’ll end up being very successful
